When you subscribe to RoastWire, we collect your email address. That's it. We don't ask for your name, location, payment details (until you upgrade to a paid plan), or any other personal information at signup.

How we use your information

We use your email address to send you the RoastWire weekly digest and, if you opt in, real-time coffee release alerts. We may occasionally send product updates or changes to our service. We will never send you unrelated marketing or share your email with third parties for advertising purposes.

We use beehiiv to manage our newsletter. When you subscribe, your email address is stored on beehiiv's servers. beehiiv's privacy policy applies to data stored on their platform. You can review it at beehiiv.com/privacy.

Cookies and tracking

Our website uses minimal analytics to understand how many people visit roastwire.com. We do not use retargeting, advertising pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies. Our newsletter emails may contain standard open and click tracking to help us understand which content is most useful to subscribers.

Third-party links

Our newsletters and alerts contain links to roasters' websites. When you click through to a roaster's site, their own privacy policy applies. We don't receive any commission or personal data from these clicks — we are not an affiliate programme.

Data retention

We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your data is removed from our active mailing list. beehiiv may retain anonymised analytics data in accordance with their own policies.
